About FacePlus Aesthetics – Specialist Facial Surgery in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs
FacePlus Aesthetics is a specialist facial plastic surgery practice located in Bondi Junction, in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. Founded by Dr Scott J Turner, a Specialist Plastic Surgeon and Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS), the practice is devoted entirely to surgical procedures of the face, eyes, and nose.
Choosing to pursue facial aesthetic surgery is a considered decision that warrants careful research, detailed information, and confidence in your surgical team. At FacePlus Aesthetics, every element of the patient experience—from the initial consultation through to post-operative follow-up—is designed around thorough education, candid discussion of expectations, and personalised surgical planning.
Unlike general cosmetic surgery clinics, FacePlus Aesthetics concentrates solely on facial procedures. This dedicated focus allows Dr Turner to maintain an in-depth understanding of facial anatomy, refine his surgical techniques across a narrower scope of operations, and offer patients the benefit of a practice built around one area of expertise.

Facial Procedures at FacePlus Aesthetics
Dr Turner provides a comprehensive range of facial surgical procedures from his Bondi Junction clinic. Each treatment plan is tailored to the individual’s anatomy, concerns, and goals following at least two face-to-face consultations.
Facelift Surgery
Facelift procedures at FacePlus Aesthetics address age-related changes across the midface, lower face, and jawline. Dr Turner offers several distinct techniques, selecting the approach most suited to each patient’s anatomy and degree of tissue laxity. These include the Vertical Restore Facelift (a proprietary technique developed within the practice), deep plane facelift surgery for comprehensive structural repositioning, SMAS facelift methods including plication and excision variations, the ponytail facelift for patients seeking reduced scarring, and short scar facelift approaches. Dr Turner also performs revision facelift surgery for individuals who have previously undergone facelift procedures elsewhere and wish to address concerns with prior results.
Neck Surgery
The neck and jawline are often among the earliest areas to show visible signs of ageing. FacePlus Aesthetics offers dedicated neck lift (platysmaplasty) procedures, deep neck lift surgery targeting subplatysmal structures, and neck liposuction for patients with isolated submental fullness. Neck procedures are frequently combined with facelift surgery to achieve harmonious results across the lower face and neck.
Eye and Brow Surgery
Periorbital ageing—including hooded upper eyelids, under-eye concerns, and brow descent—can significantly affect facial appearance. Dr Turner performs upper blepharoplasty and lower blepharoplasty to address eyelid-specific concerns, as well as brow lift surgery and hairline lowering procedures. These operations may be performed independently or in combination with other facial procedures.
Nose Surgery (Rhinoplasty)
FacePlus Aesthetics provides a range of rhinoplasty procedures addressing both aesthetic and functional nasal concerns. Surgical options include primary rhinoplasty, functional rhinoplasty and septoplasty for breathing difficulties, ethnic rhinoplasty respecting diverse nasal characteristics, ultrasonic rhinoplasty utilising piezoelectric instrumentation for precise bone work, tip rhinoplasty for isolated nasal tip refinement, and teen rhinoplasty for younger patients who have reached skeletal maturity.
Complementary Facial Procedures
Facial fat grafting and chin implant surgery are available as standalone procedures or as adjuncts to facelift and rhinoplasty surgery, enhancing overall facial balance. Lip lift surgery addresses upper lip proportions and is another procedure offered within the practice.
Procedures for Men
Male facial anatomy presents distinct surgical considerations, including thicker skin, more prominent vascularity, and beard-bearing tissue. FacePlus Aesthetics offers procedures specifically adapted for male patients, including male facelift, male neck lift, male rhinoplasty, and male blepharoplasty. Dr Turner’s approach accounts for the anatomical differences that influence surgical technique and expected outcomes in male patients.

Our Approach to Facial Surgery
The philosophy underpinning FacePlus Aesthetics centres on three principles: thorough patient education, honest communication about what surgery can and cannot achieve, and individualised surgical planning.
Every patient completes a minimum of two detailed consultations with Dr Turner before any procedure proceeds. These appointments allow adequate time to discuss concerns, examine facial anatomy, review available surgical options, and ensure that expectations align with what can realistically be achieved. Where Dr Turner considers surgery to be unsuitable for a patient’s circumstances, he will communicate this directly.
As required under Australian regulations, all cosmetic surgery patients undergo a psychological assessment prior to proceeding. FacePlus Aesthetics views this as a valuable component of the pre-operative process, supporting both realistic expectations and emotional preparedness.
All surgical procedures carry inherent risks, and individual outcomes vary. Detailed information about potential complications and recovery timelines is provided during the consultation process, and patients are encouraged to seek a second opinion from another appropriately qualified Specialist Plastic Surgeon before making their decision.
